The School Day

The Department for Education (DfE) requires that state-funded schools deliver a school week of a minimum of 32.5 (32 hours and 30 minutes) hours for children in Years 1-6.

School gate opens (all children): 8:45am

School start time (all children): 9am

School finish time (all children): 3.30pm

Morning Break

KS1 children have a morning break from 10.30am to 10.45am.

KS2 children have a morning break from 10.45am to 11.00am.

Lunchtime

Lunchtime for all children is 12pm – 1pm

Afternoon Break

KS1 children have an afternoon break from 2pm to 2:15pm.

KS2 children have an afternoon break from 2:15pm to 2:30pm.
